Description
Muddy Creek Wetland Trail, Moraine State Park, led by Debbie Kalbfleisch (724-651-5426). Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot opposite the trailhead on Burton Road. Please note that the closest bathroom is at the Rt. 528 Boat Launch, about 10 minutes away. This is an easy-walking trail through woods, and can be muddy in spots. Directions: From Indiana, follow Rt. 422 west, and take the exit for Rt. 528 towards Prospect. Make a right onto Rt. 528 North. Will pass the 528 Boat Launch on your right. Continue north on 528 and turn right onto West Liberty Road. In .7 mile, turn right onto Burton Road. The parking lot will be about half a mile on the right. You can enter 40.97799395149071, -80.0033625950238 into your GPS for directions to the parking lot, or try entering Multi Use Trail, Burton Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
