Crooked Creek outing
Sun, January 29, 8:00 – 9:00 am
Crooked Creek Park
Trip Report
I went to the outflow area of The dam. The road is usually closed during this time of the year, but on this particular day it was open. The water level is high. There was a mature bald eagle in a tree overlooking the water. There was also two immature in trees a little further down stream. There was also a pair of common merganser and a pair of canada geese. I also spotted a pileated woodpecker. I am usually at the park several times a week.
