Description
Sandy Ridge Road grasslands in Jefferson/Clearfield Counties, led by Tom Glover (814-938-5618). Meet at 3:00 p.m. at the small cemetery on the left of SR 36, Colonel Drake Hwy, Punxsutawney, about 7 miles south of Punxy toward Mahaffey. Target birds include Rough-legged Hawk, Northern Harrier, and Short-eared Owl. This outing is subject to weather and dependent upon whether or not the roads are plowed.
