Description

Mike Fialkovich will present ï¿½Birds and Nature in Southern Texasï¿½ at our October meeting . In November 2018, Mike joined an Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania tour to the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas to see the areaï¿½s famed birds and other wildlife. Mike will share his photographs of birds, other wildlife, and plants that the group experienced during the trip.

Mike is no stranger to our group as he has presented multiple programs to our group. He has been interested in birds and nature as far back as he can remember. He is currently the president of the Pennsylvania Society for Ornithology until his term expires later this month. He is also a member of the PA Ornithological Records Committee as well as a founding member of the Three Rivers Birding Club in Pittsburgh. In 2011 he was presented the W. E. Clyde Todd Award by the Audubon Society of Western PA. Mikeï¿½s programs are also very interesting and educational as well. Donï¿½t miss this one!
