Description
Alice Stitt will lead us on a birding tour of her 50-acre property at 766 State Route PA-210, Shelocta, PA 15774. Habitats include woods, scrubland, and nearby fields.
Driving Directions:
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot see Stitts' home from the road.
Take US Rte 422 towards ELDERTON.
There are two stop lights in Elderton. At the easternmost stoplight, turn onto Rte 210 SOUTH.
You will travel not quite 1/4 of a mile. Their driveway is the next left after Kimmel Plan Lane.
Look for a white farm house that has a silo with a blue top. Their driveway is across the road from the white farm house.
Proceed up the driveway, past the first white and black house. (Watch for the dip as you pass the green gas well.)
Continue driving through the fields on the driveway.
Their home is at the end of the driveway.
