Description
Moraine State Park, led by Mike Shaffer. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at Barber's Point on the North Shore for a Fall Warbler Walk. Come out and enjoy a fall day of birding. This area of Barber's Point consistently produces warblers on their fall migration and if we are lucky, we could see terns and shorebirds. Interested birders from all skill levels from beginners to experts are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them. If not, we will have binoculars on hand for you to use. So, just bring your enthusiasm, water, snacks, and sharp eyes and ears!
Directions: From Indiana, follow US 422 west and take the exit towards Moraine North Shore. Pass the entrance to McDaniels Boat Launch and turn right onto North Shore Drive. Follow North Shore Drive and look for the small sign on the right for Barber's Point.
